Sevletunet - a place for celebrations and cultural events
At Sevletunet there is rather popular to arrange various kinds of private celebrations/dinners. Small family parties and bigger parties.
You may have the dinner in the main house – served by us, and then withdraw to privacy in Treskelåven. Bigger parties and events
to be held in the big hall. The whole area can be at your disposal.
We can room 39 if many stay together in family rooms.
In the main house we can have 20-40 for dinner. In Treskelåven for coffee and cognac after dinner it is best with not more than 30.
In the hall it can be 75+, also perfect for 40-50.
As you know, a couple of hundred years ago this farm was the scene of great drama.... The story about the freeholder of the farm, the Sevle boy, is more exciting than any detective novel.
Every year, the Laagendal Museum in Kongsberg, arrange several trips through the Medieval Valley with interesting stops at the stave churches and the medieval farms. At Sevletunet the group is served a typical traditional meal accompanied by the story of the Sevle boy.
